Definitions

• "Platform" means the Align Life website, mobile applications, and any associated software through which practitioners and seekers connect.
• "Founding Member" means a Practitioner Founding Member or Seeker Founding Member as defined below.
• "Practitioner Founding Membership" means the one-off paid offer described in Section 3(a), payable in full or via the Instalment Plan described in Section 6.
• "Seeker Founding Membership" means the one-off paid offer described in Section 3(b).
• "Aligned Tier" means Align Life's standard paid practitioner subscription (£19.99+VAT/month at the date of this document), which carries 0% platform commission on bookings, as opposed to the Free tier, on which Align Life charges commission on bookings made through the Platform.
• "Launch" means the date on which the relevant part of the Platform (practitioner booking and profiles, or the paid Seeker subscription tier, as context requires) becomes publicly available, as notified by Align Life.

Platform Development Status

You acknowledge and agree that, as at the date of purchase, the Align Life Platform is in prototype / pre-launch development. The Founding Member Offer is a pre-order style arrangement that directly funds development of the verification stack, AI matching, and booking tools ahead of Launch.

• Practitioner platform (profiles, verification, booking, AI matching): targeting early November 2026.
• Paid Seeker subscription tier: targeting mid-2027.

These are estimated target dates, not contractual commitments, and Align Life may need to adjust them. Certain Founding Member benefits (community access, social share asset, welcome pack) are made available before Launch, as set out in Section 4. Where a delay to Launch becomes significant, the longstop refund right in Section 8 applies.

The Founding Member Offer

(a) Practitioner Founding Membership — £333

• A one-off payment of £333 (inclusive of any applicable VAT), which includes 12+ months of full platform access from Launch, after which the practitioner receives 50% off the standard Aligned Tier subscription price for as long as they remain continuously subscribed ("Founder Pricing").
• Practitioners may pay the £333 in full at checkout, or spread it over 3 months by choosing the Instalment Plan: £111 charged today, then £111 on the same date in each of the following two months, for a total of £333. See Section 6 for how the Instalment Plan works.
• Available to the first 200 verified practitioners who complete purchase and pass the verification process in Section 5.
• Spots are allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis, subject to successful verification. Payment does not guarantee a spot if the allocation is reached or verification is unsuccessful — see Section 8 for the refund position.
• Align Life may, at its sole discretion, increase the number of available Practitioner Founding Membership spots; this does not affect members who have already purchased.

(b) Seeker Founding Membership — £111

• A one-off, non-recurring payment of £111 (inclusive of any applicable VAT), giving Founding access now plus a lifetime 50% discount on the paid Seeker subscription tier once it launches, for as long as the seeker remains continuously subscribed.
• Available to the first 100 seekers who complete purchase, allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis.
• "Lifetime" refers to the discount being locked in for as long as the seeker maintains an active subscription once the paid tier launches — it does not mean free or unlimited access to the Platform, and does not apply if the subscription lapses and is later restarted.

Founding Member Benefits

Practitioner Founding Members receive:

Available now, before Launch:

• Access to the private Founding WhatsApp community.
• A Founding Member shareable social asset.
• A welcome pack (printable product deck and sample business cards), business cards dispatched to the address provided at checkout. Align Life is not liable for postal delays outside its reasonable control.

At Launch:

• The ability to vote on upcoming platform features.
• Beta / priority access to set up their live profile ahead of public launch.
• A permanent Verified Founding Practitioner badge (subject to maintaining verification standards).
• An early social/email spotlight feature.
• Named contributor status on the modality taxonomy.
• All Aligned Tier benefits, including 0% platform commission on bookings made through the Platform and priority placement in search and AI matching. This does not affect clients a practitioner already has outside the Platform, and applies only to new bookings made through the Platform.

Ongoing:

• A quarterly strategy call with the founders, including product demos.
• Founder Pricing: 50% off the Aligned Tier subscription price from Year 2 onward, for life, provided the subscription remains continuously active. Correct as at the date of this document, the Aligned Tier is £19.99+VAT/month, with the paid tier expected to launch alongside the Platform in early November 2026.

Practitioners on the Instalment Plan receive these benefits on the same basis as practitioners who pay in full, provided the Instalment Plan is paid in full and verification (Section 5) is passed — see Sections 6 and 8 for what happens if an instalment is missed.

Seeker Founding Members receive:

Available now, before Launch:

• A Founding Seeker shareable social asset.
• Access to the private Founding WhatsApp community.
• A Founding Seeker digital welcome pack.

At Launch:

• Early access to book with practitioners, ahead of general public rollout.
• A permanent Founding Seeker badge.
• Participation in the referral scheme: referred friends receive a discount on their own membership, and the referring Founding Seeker earns credit toward theirs. Referral credits are subject to the referral terms in force on the Platform at the relevant time, which Align Life may vary or withdraw on reasonable notice.
• The ability to vote on upcoming platform features.

Ongoing:

• A quarterly founder update call / livestream.
• First access to new modalities and features as they roll out.

Future:

• A lifetime 50% discount on the paid Seeker subscription tier once it launches. Correct as at the date of this document, that tier is expected to be £9.99+VAT/month, targeting a mid-2027 launch.

Verification (Practitioners Only)

Practitioner Founding Membership is conditional on successfully completing Align Life's verification process, which may include identity verification, professional certification checks, insurance checks, and any other checks Align Life reasonably considers necessary. Align Life reserves the right to decline, suspend, or revoke Founding Member status, at any stage, for any practitioner who does not pass verification, provides false or misleading information, or is later found to be in breach of the Align Life practitioner code of conduct. Verification being pending or unsuccessful does not, of itself, entitle a practitioner to a refund except as set out in Section 8.

Being a Founding Member, and any verification badge displayed on the Platform, indicates that a practitioner has passed Align Life's verification checks at a point in time. It does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation by Align Life of any practitioner's skills, qualifications, or the outcome of any treatment or session. Align Life is not a party to, and accepts no liability arising from, any booking, session, or agreement between a seeker and a practitioner.

Payment Terms

• Payment is taken via our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
• The Founding Member fee of £333 (practitioners) or £111 (seekers) is a single fee covering everything described in Section 4, including the platform access and Founder Pricing described there. It is not a separate joining fee on top of ordinary subscription charges for the period it covers.
• Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Practitioner Instalment Plan

• Practitioners may choose, at checkout, to pay the £333 Practitioner Founding Membership fee as three monthly instalments of £111 each (the "Instalment Plan") instead of paying in full.
• The first £111 instalment is charged at checkout; the remaining two are charged automatically on the same date in each of the following two months. Choosing the Instalment Plan does not change the total price and is available purely as a cash-flow option.
• Selecting the Instalment Plan is a commitment to pay all three instalments. If a scheduled instalment fails, Stripe will retry payment under its standard retry process, and Align Life will also email the practitioner directly to ask them to update their payment details.
• If an instalment remains unpaid 14 days after its due date, Align Life may suspend the practitioner's Founding Member benefits until payment is brought up to date. If payment remains outstanding 30 days after the due date, Align Life may treat the Founding Membership as lapsed, release the spot to the next practitioner in the queue, and stop collecting further instalments — see Section 8 for how instalments already paid are treated in that case.

Cancellation & Refunds — First 14 Days

Align Life offers every Founding Member — whether purchasing as a consumer or in a trade/business capacity — a straightforward right to cancel within 14 days of the purchase date, for any reason, no questions asked. To cancel, email hello@alignlife.co.uk within that 14-day window quoting your order details, and Align Life will refund the full amount paid to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request.

For practitioners on the Instalment Plan, the 14-day window runs from the date of the first instalment. Cancelling within that window entitles the practitioner to a refund of any instalments already paid, and cancels all remaining scheduled instalments — no further payments will be taken.

This right is offered as a matter of policy to all Founding Members and is intended to meet or exceed the statutory cancellation rights available to consumers under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

After the 14-day window has passed, your Founding Membership is locked in and non-refundable, except in the specific circumstances set out in Section 8.

Refunds Outside the 14-Day Window

• Longstop for non-launch: if the practitioner platform has not launched within 12 months of the stated target date (currently early November 2026), or the paid Seeker tier has not launched within 12 months of its stated target date (currently mid-2027), affected Founding Members may request a full refund of their Founding Member fee (or instalments paid to date) at any time until Launch occurs.
• Failed verification (practitioners): if verification is unsuccessful, Align Life will offer a full refund of amounts paid within 14 days of the verification decision, unless the application involved fraudulent or materially false information, in which case no refund will be given.
• Instalment Plan lapsing: if a practitioner's Instalment Plan lapses under Section 6 due to non-payment, or the practitioner voluntarily cancels remaining instalments after the 14-day window, instalments already paid are non-refundable, remaining instalments are cancelled, and the practitioner's Founding Member spot and benefits lapse.
• Technical oversubscription: if a technical error results in more Founding Member spots being sold than the stated cap, surplus payments will be refunded in full.
• Outside of the above and the 14-day window in Section 7, Founding Member fees are non-refundable, as they directly fund pre-Launch Platform development.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Founding Member Terms limits or excludes Align Life's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Subject to that, Align Life's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Founding Member Offer, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid for your Founding Membership. Align Life is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, or anticipated bookings.

Data Protection

Align Life will process your personal data, including any address supplied for welcome pack dispatch, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.

Changes to These Terms

Align Life may update these Founding Member Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or the Platform. We will notify existing Founding Members of any material change by email. Changes will not apply retroactively to reduce the core benefits already earned under Section 4 without your consent or an equivalent alternative being offered.

If you have a complaint about the Offer or your Founding Membership, please contact us at hello@alignlife.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and resolve them within 28 days.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Founding Member Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, mandatory local consumer protections you are entitled to will continue to apply.
